Description

A very collectable and very elegant, mid century, Noritake tea set, produced in the 14 years between 1949 and 1963,  decorated with beautifully hand painted roses linked by heavy gilding.

Noritake is a famous Japanese factory, manufacturing high quality, hand painted and gilded porcelain and fine bone china since 1904.

The set consists of a tea pot, coffee pot, milk jug, twin handled lidded sugar bowl, four cups and four saucers. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There is some minor wear to the gilding, mainly to the handles. The bases are fully stamped as shown in the photo’s.
