Railway Station Clock (SOLD)

Description

A lovely example of a late Victorian Railway Station Clock. Serviced and in full working order. Made at the turn of the 19th century by Muirhead & Sons of Glasgow. It has a dead beat escapement inside an oak case. This configuration is practically a wall mounted grandfather clock. As you can see from the photographs of the inside of the door, its history is almost documented. A great piece of industrial history. Items for sale are advertised on multiple platforms.
