Victorian Glass Smoke Bell

Description

A fine example of an early Victorian blown glass oil lamp, or candle, smoke bell. A device suspended from the ceiling above an oil lamp, or candle, to capture the smoke, thus both protecting the ceiling above the lamp, and preventing the smoke from dispersing throughout the room. It is in remarkable condition with no scratches or chips. Height: 31cm. Width: 28cm. Pick up is preferred for obvious reasons, but carriage may be able to be arranged.
