Boar’s Head

Description

A very handsome boar’s head.

Given that the piece is lighter in weight than an equivalent Victorian example, along with light, but nonetheless, age related wear. suggests that it was mounted onto its traditional light oak shield in the middle part of the 20th century.

This statement piece is presented well and is in very good condition with good eyes.
